I don't know what to say to you my friend....

Maybe this will make you feel better...

I'll need time to get you off my mind
I may sometimes bother you, try to be in touch with you
Even ask too much of you, from time to time
Now and then, Lord, you know I'll need a friend
'Till I get used to losing you, let me keep on using you,
'Til I can make it on my own

I'll get by, but no matter how I try
There'll be times that you'll know I'll call
Chances are my tears will fall
And I'll have no pride at all, from time to time
But they say, oh, there'll be a brighter day
But 'Til then I lean on you, that's all I mean to do,
'Til I can make it on my own

Surely someday I'll look up and see the morning sun
Without another lonely night behind me
Then I'll know I'm over you and all my cryin's done
No more hurtin' memories can find me

But 'til then, Lord, you know I'm gonna need a friend
'Til I get used to losing you, let me keep on using you
'Til I can make it on my own.

'Til I can make it on my own.

LAST NIGHT I HAD A CRAZY DREAM
A WISH WAS GRANTED JUST FOR ME,
IT COULD BE FOR ANYTHING
I DIDN'T ASK FOR MONEY
OR A MANSION IN MALIBU
I SIMPLY WISHED, FOR ONE MORE DAY WITH YOU

ONE MORE DAY
ONE MORE TIME
ONE MORE SUNSET, MAYBE I'D BE SATISFIED
BUT THEN AGAIN
I KNOW WHAT IT WOULD DO
LEAVE ME WISHING STILL, FOR ONE MORE DAY WITH YOU

FIRST THING I'D DO, IS PRAY FOR TIME TO CRAWL
THEN I'D UNPLUG THE TELEPHONE
AND KEEP THE TV OFF
I'D HOLD YOU EVERY SECOND
SAY A MILLION I LOVE YOU'S
THAT'S WHAT I'D DO. WITH ONE MORE DAY WITH YOU.

God has a new angel
that's in heaven today
He loaned me my Mother
until he took her away
She's up in the heavens
right where she belongs
Mom's walking with God
and singing His songs.

In pain and in dying
Mom held onto her faith
When it was time to let go
I asked God not to wait
Mom's up in His garden
Doing what she loves
She's tending His flowers
Up in Heaven above.

Her life had been hard
but she held onto hope
If there was a problem
she always would cope.
I love my loved one
It makes me so sad
But I keep her memories
Of the good times we had.

we're here for you....

for anything...forever

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Ain't No Cure for the Summertime Blues

Wow....

so its been forever and a day since I updated this thing.  But all is pretty well over here in my neck of the woods.  Senior year has started with a bang, and I hope all who are returning/begining college are enjoying themselves as well.  But seeing as I've got quite an updation on my hands I'd better cut to the chase.

Summer has come and gone too quickly for my liking.  But I definitely had some of the best times if my life.

The BCC was fantabulous, even Bill grew on me after a bit, all the people there and the friends I made were fantastic, and thankfully I didn't have to put my skills to the test!  But to all of you who made working for less than minimum wage enjoyable (you know who you are) thank you very much.  We had some good times up there for sure...from that rainy day slip-n-slide with Ike's truck...and then the almost tragic fiasco involving the gear shift (#*%^ Neutral!!!! ) To the sidewalk chalk and sharks and minnows it was an awesome time and felt more like play than an actual job...except on Tuesday nights haha.

Marching band also got into full swing fortunately and unfortunately, I only have this year to make it count....if we don't get the banner at Cavalcade I don't know what I'll do....even worse if we don't break 90.  *sighs* I really don't know if I can handle the pressure, but the music is coming along well...for the winds at least and we only have a few sets of drill left, wether or not we'll have it ready for Hempfield on the 16th I don't know...but this season will be interesting.

Hmmm....

There were a few slammin' parties at the Gilbert residence...those I am going to miss for sure.  Thanks for hosting us Mr. Brian C. Gilbert, those were an awesome time for all involved.

Oh yeah...The whole fiasco with the goats turned out okay.  I only took one of them to the fair, as opposed to both, but I/we did very well (Reserve Ch. Lightweight *woot*) and I had the best time ever sleeping up there and playing violent card games with the gang.  Hanging out up there made me realize how small my scope of friends is, and made me wish I had talked to a few of those kids more often, or at all (please refrain from making the "I told you so face" in the peanut gallery ).  Friday night as always was especially crazy.  The Sheriff made another appearance as chaperone...still without a badge.  And a whole gang of us, me, my brother, Farren, Kelsey, Lisa, Court, Hunter, Mark, Brett, Farmer John, Kelly, Abbey, and those Lindgrens had one hec of a time playing Spoons and Bull and pulling pranks on each other.  The sale went well too for most of us...well all of us except for one , and anyone who owned beef.

I also got to hang out with Brittany and some others that week which was awesome.  I spent the night a Britt's one night and I found out that good things never change, or need to change, and those good things are still better than ever.  Walking around with her was quite an adventure and good times were had by all!

As soon as the week ended, my goat went back to the farm instead of to the rack by the way, school started.  I was majorly stressed and had a rough Sunday night, but it all turned out well in the end.

And now I am 5 school days into Senior year and still a little weary from my summer exploits. But life is good and all is well.

Until next time, keep smilin'!

.:I ain't trippin'....you know what I'm sayin'....:.

.:...I don't know what I'm gonna do, 'cause there ain't no cure for the summertime blues...:.
